Tell us about your blog?

My blog is basically about everyday life as a mommy (parent), wife, trying to just adult in today’s world. The real stuff that you don’t always get to see or what people are often shy to show people. I hope it becomes a sort of safe haven not only for moms but everyone where it is OK to not be perfect all the time.

How do you feel about using technology as part of learning?

I think it is great, we live in a world of technology and it can only benefit your kid to become tech savvy. With that being said in moderation or with time limits.

What are your kids favorite apps?

My daughter loves the learning and singing apps.

What do you love about South Africa and raising your children here?

The diversity and it is absolutely beautiful.

TV “Yes” or “No”?

Yes, Also in moderation and age appropriate shows.

What is in the lunchbox?

Peanut butter sandwich, juice, yogurt, usually a banana or apple and something to nibble like pretzels etc.

How do you balance it all – in one sentence?

Take 5 minutes everyday for yourself.

Do you children do chores at home, if so what and how do you manage it?

My daughter is still very young so not really but she must pick up her toys. Try to make clean up time fun like a game. Who can pick up all their toys??? We will usually giggle and race to pick them up but that doesn’t always work.

What is your favorite holiday plans/ activities with kids?

Anything that involves water – Beach, pool, water activities. Love discovering new indoor and outdoor play areas and going away for short breaks with the family.
